Hi there,
Greetings from London!
The most interesting conversations we’re having right now don’t sit in one time zone. This week alone has us in London: an evening with the Institute of Travel and Tourism at the House of Lords, meeting with partners and technology peers, and tonight, a room full of the founders, business leaders and technologists shaping where this is all going, at our own AI Happy Hour in Paddington.
What strikes me every time is how borderless this shift has become. The way brands engage customers is changing everywhere at once, not market by market. When AI can hold a real conversation in 90-plus languages, on the channels people actually use worldwide, the old friction of going global mostly disappears. For a company our size, the question is no longer whether to expand internationally. It’s how quickly the market is pulling us there. More on that as it unfolds.
Which brings me to the biggest news we’ve ever shared in this email.
Two-minute read. Let’s go.
What’s new this week
- We just went from a product to a platform. The ConversionIQ Developer Platform is live at developers.conversioniq.ai, alongside the brand-new ConversionIQ Marketplace. Developers can now build an integration once and put it in front of revenue teams across virtually every consumer-facing industry. And it exposes the endpoints that actually move revenue: the Contacts Edge pushes contacts straight into ChattiLive™ Campaigns for automatic enrollment, and the Conversions Edge reports online and offline conversions so Chatti knows exactly where each contact sits in their journey. It’s all backed by an enterprise-grade REST API with signed webhooks, 99.99% uptime, and sub-80ms responses. For you, that means a fast-growing ecosystem of tools and integrations built around the platform you already run on. For developers and partners, this is the place to be.
- Chatti knows who it’s talking to, from the first message. New or returning, across WhatsApp, Messenger, SMS, and web chat, Chatti now recognizes a customer the moment they reach out. New contacts get a clean record created automatically at hello, and returning customers are instantly matched to their full history. No more asking people to repeat what you already know, and no duplicate records to clean up later.
- A faster, smoother mobile app. We tuned load times, login, the conversation view, and push notifications for rock-solid access wherever your day takes you.
What’s cooking (and it’s big) 🔮
- Instagram DMs, open to everyone. Connecting Instagram messaging used to require an account linked to a Facebook Page, which locked some businesses out entirely. A new, simpler connection path removes that requirement completely. The build is done and in final testing, with go-live pending Instagram’s own approval.
- Watch your campaigns breathe. A new live view in the campaign builder shows exactly how many contacts sit at each step in real time: waiting for a message, paused on a delay, and more. In final testing.
- A/B/C testing for your opening SMS. Now you can optimize the message that starts the conversation: generate multiple versions of your initial outbound SMS, split your audience by percentage, and let real data show which opener lands hardest. And the moment a contact replies, ChattiLive™ SMS takes over the conversation autonomously, just as it does today. Test the first touch, then let Chatti run with it. In final testing, releasing soon.
- Maestri, the orchestration layer (coming very soon). ChattiLive™ already handles the conversation. Maestri handles the strategy around it, autonomously deciding when to reach each contact, on which channel, with which message and creative. It’s the difference between a great conversation and a perfectly orchestrated one, across every channel at once. More soon.
- A smarter, more interactive chat widget. A new secure mechanism lets the platform trigger pre-approved actions right from the widget in real time, like notifying your analytics the instant a visitor becomes a lead, and it lays the groundwork for rich, interactive widget messages well beyond plain text. In final testing.
🇬🇧 London, tonight
It’s been quite a week across the pond. Special thanks to Simon Powell, CEO of our commercial partner SystemsX.ai, for hosting us at the ITT Summer Party. An unforgettable evening. (More on ITT at itt.co.uk.)
And tonight, the cocktails are on us. Our London AI Happy Hour runs 5 to 7pm at Smith’s Bar & Grill in Paddington: no pitches, no slides, just honest conversation about where AI is taking customer engagement. If you’re in the city, there’s still time. Reserve your spot and come say hello.
Every one of these came from listening. Hit reply and tell me what would move the needle for your business, and there’s a real chance you’ll see it in a future edition. The more you tell us, the faster the roadmap moves.
See you next Wednesday. ⚡
