Hi there,
My take
Your customers reach you from everywhere. A comment on an Instagram post. A question in your website chat. A reply to an SMS or WhatsApp campaign. In that moment, the only thing that matters is whether the AI answering them actually knows what it’s talking about.
This week, Chatti got a lot better at exactly that, in three ways that compound. It now pulls the one relevant thing it knows about that specific person instead of everything at once, so a returning customer gets a reply that reflects their history, not a generic greeting. It understands your business more deeply, so its answers are grounded in what you actually offer. And it can now read and respond in your customer’s own language with a single click. Put together, that means the same thing everywhere you run Chatti (comments, webchat, SMS, WhatsApp): sharper, more personal, more human responses that move someone toward your goal for the conversation, whatever conversion you’re after, instead of just answering a question.
Two-minute read. Let’s go.
What’s new this week
- Chatti brings up the right memory at the right moment. Chatti has remembered context about your contacts for a while. What’s new is how precisely it uses that memory. You can now tag and group everything Chatti knows about a contact, so it’s easy to find and organize, and Chatti now decides which of those memories to draw on based on what the conversation actually needs, surfacing the relevant detail at the relevant moment instead of everything at once.
- Translate any conversation or comment, on demand. We’ve been telling you this was coming. It’s here. When a conversation or comment arrives in a language that isn’t yours, one click translates the whole thing: not just a single message, but the entire thread or conversation, summaries and responses included, with the original always right there. Your team reads everything in the language they actually work in.
- Buy your branded Tappi domains right inside the platform. A branded short-link domain used to mean buying it somewhere else, configuring it in Tappi, and editing DNS yourself. Now you buy it directly in the platform and it comes back fully configured and ready for short links in minutes. Chatti even suggests domains based on how you’ll use them, whether SMS, email, or WhatsApp, and how well each holds up against TCR compliance rules. Branded links lift deliverability and open rates, and every tap feeds Chatti’s memory.
- Chatti’s business understanding got deeper. When reading comments, Chatti now draws on more of your business context: the full conversation thread, the post’s own content and image, and richer company detail from your knowledge base. Better-grounded responses on every comment it handles.
What’s cooking (and it’s big) 🔮
- A Knowledge Base Evaluator that catches problems before your customers do. Approved for build this week. It checks your knowledge base at two moments: before you publish a change, flagging contradictions and instructions that don’t belong there, and after each response, measuring how well your knowledge base actually covers what people are asking. When coverage drops, you get a specific alert with recommendations. Better answers, caught at the source.
- WhatsApp campaigns are ready to go. Send campaigns over WhatsApp with approved templates, variables, headers, and buttons, with numbers linked securely from your agents. Built and tested, shipping as soon as one final check clears.
- Google Reviews is being prepared for rollout. Connect your Google account, capture new reviews automatically, and view them by rating. Replies wait for your approval by default, and only post automatically if you choose to switch that on. Your reputation, managed where everything else already lives.
Every one of these came from listening. Hit reply and tell me what would move the needle for your business, and there’s a real chance you’ll see it in a future edition. The more you tell us, the faster the roadmap moves.
See you next Wednesday. âš¡
