Hi there,
My take
A couple of weeks ago I wrote that the best software is starting to act on its own, and I hinted that something big was in heavy testing. Here it is.
Until this week, a campaign sent everyone messages on the same fixed schedule. The loyal customer who always replies at lunch and the person who has never once opened a message were treated identically. Maestri, the model that conducts our entire AI system, is now live inside Campaigns, and it changes that. It studies each contact’s history and decides, person by person, the best moment to reach them. Soon it will decide the best channel too.
That is the line between AI that responds and AI that decides, and we just crossed it.
And it isn’t theoretical. At a recent event, an autonomous version of Chatti booked meetings at more than 12 times the industry benchmark, and it didn’t just collect names. It built a real strategy for each person’s business on the spot. One guest who openly told us he doubted it walked away impressed after Chatti followed up with a call that referenced his exact strategy, by name.
Two-minute read. Let’s go.
What’s new this week
- Maestri is live. Your campaigns now make decisions. Every contact in a campaign used to move on the same fixed schedule. Maestri reads each contact’s interaction history and decides, contact by contact, the best moment to send the next message. Flip it on per campaign with a single switch, set how confident Maestri has to be before it acts on its own, and choose what happens when it isn’t sure. It ships with a side-by-side panel comparing Maestri-managed contacts against conventionally managed ones, so you expand it on real data instead of faith. Every decision is logged with its reasoning, so you can always explain exactly why a campaign did what it did. And contacts with no history still follow the traditional schedule, so Maestri never guesses without data.
- ChattiBiz turns a badge scan into a strategy built for that person’s business. ChattiBiz is Chatti working your booth at a live event, and the magic is what happens in the conversation. An attendee scans a QR code and is instantly talking with Chatti. No pitch, no waiting, nobody staffing a tablet. Chatti learns what their business actually does and generates a genuinely personalized strategy, delivered on their own page to review afterward. It isn’t a form that collects a name, it’s a consultant that shows up already understanding the customer. (Chatti can even follow up with a call that picks up right where the conversation left off, referencing that same strategy by name.) The early results back it up: industry benchmarks put conference badge scans near a 1.6% meeting-booking rate. In its first outing, ChattiBiz booked at 20%.
- Native Shopify integration is here. Chatti can now answer questions about product availability, sizes, colors, and order status by querying your Shopify store in real time, never a stale, mirrored catalog. Credentials stay secure and never touch a browser, connections auto-renew so they never quietly drop, and an order lookup returns only what’s needed, only when the order matches the asking customer’s email. You can connect today with a direct install, and a one-click public listing is under review with Shopify now.
What’s cooking (and it’s big) 🔮
- WhatsApp is coming to Campaigns. Add WhatsApp as a step inside the same campaign flow you already use for SMS, so both live in one contact journey. Full template management with approval status syncing automatically, built-in opt-in, opt-out, and 24-hour-window compliance, and a live preview of exactly how each template will look. In the final stretch before production.
- Maestri is learning to choose the channel, not just the moment. Campaigns will soon trigger an outbound voice call as a step in the flow, and here’s the leap: Maestri already decides when to reach each contact, and soon it will decide how, choosing a call over a text or WhatsApp when a call is genuinely the better path. Not a hardcoded sequence, an intelligent choice per person, and always within the rules: Maestri only triggers a call or a text where you have marketing consent.
- Per-contact memory that follows the customer everywhere. A major upgrade to Chatti’s memory: context tied to each individual contact, built from your interactions and your own systems, and used to personalize every outbound touch. Where it’s headed is the real story. One unified profile per customer across web, messaging, and social, so Chatti always remembers who it’s talking to and what matters to them.
- The next-generation platform is in final QA. Our reimagined experience is in its last testing phase, covering the full lifecycle from registration and roles to billing and white-label for partners. The biggest leap this product has ever taken, and it’s close now.
One more thing: Mexico City 🇲🇽
If you’ll be in Mexico City, our next AI Happy Hour is September 6, the night before the AMDETUR Congress opens. Same format, at LicorerÃa Limantour Polanco, one of The World’s 50 Best Bars. And yes, ChattiBiz will be working the room. Come watch it turn a badge scan into a personalized strategy in real time.
Every one of these came from listening. Hit reply and tell me what would move the needle for your business, and there’s a real chance you’ll see it in a future edition. The more you tell us, the faster the roadmap moves.
See you next Wednesday. âš¡
